Jordyn Paul-Slater is an award-winning business and economic reporter from Atlanta, Georgia.

She currently works as the business and economic development reporter at the Ledger-Enquirer, based in Columbus, Georgia. She was awarded third place for Business Reporting in 2026 Georgia Press Association Better Newspaper Contest for published coverage with the L-E.

She brings a unique blend of expertise across print, digital, and audio media. Her reporting bridges business, technology, and culture through thoughtful and impactful multimedia storytelling.

Her work has additionally appeared in publications like Reuters, Fast Company, and The New York Observer.

Beyond her writing, Jordyn is an experienced radio and podcast producer. Her portfolio includes producing, hosting, and editing content for platforms like SiriusXM. With a keen eye for storytelling across social media, video, and traditional journalism, Jordyn is passionate about crafting compelling narratives that resonate with today’s digital audience.

Jordyn completed her Master’s in Specialized Journalism at the University of Southern California and earned her Bachelor’s in Journalism from George Washington University.
